You do not need to register, log in or provide a name to use FuzzyPlate. The site does not currently offer user accounts, profiles or payment features.
Images and the current tool
The current tool works locally in your browser; FuzzyPlate does not receive or store the image. Closing or refreshing the tool page clears the working image from the page, although your original file and any downloaded edited copy remain on your own device.
Website and hosting logs
Like most websites, the hosting provider may create basic technical logs when pages are requested. These may include an IP address, browser information, requested page, date and time, and security or error information. Logs may be used to operate, secure and troubleshoot the site.
Cookies and local storage
FuzzyPlate may use essential browser storage for preferences, including your cookie choice. See the cookie policy and use “Manage cookie choices” in the footer to review your choice.
YouTube demonstration video
The demo page embeds a video from YouTube using YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com. Interacting with the player may send information to Google or YouTube and may result in cookies or similar technologies being used.
Advertising
FuzzyPlate may display advertising using Google AdSense or similar advertising services. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar technologies to serve ads. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to FuzzyPlate and/or other sites on the Internet, where permitted and subject to your choices.
Other third-party vendors or ad networks may also use cookies or similar technologies if they are enabled through Google AdSense or similar advertising services. Consent choices may be handled through Google's Privacy & messaging tools or another suitable consent management platform where required. Your responsibility
Always review edited images before sharing them. A browser editing tool cannot decide which details you consider sensitive or guarantee that every plate, reflection or other identifier has been covered.
