How it works
FuzzyPlate keeps the route from original photo to edited sharing copy straightforward. No account, no server-side image processing and no complicated editing workspace.
Use the editor size that helps you review
The regular editor keeps the photo and compact toolboxes together. Use the expand icon in Tools when you need a larger view; it is the same editor and the same queue, with more room to inspect details.
Review automatic plate suggestions
On supported browsers, FuzzyPlate checks the image for likely registration plates after it loads. Possible plates appear as suggestions only; detection can miss or incorrectly identify areas, and it does not find signs or other non-plate details.
Accept, adjust or add selections
Review every suggestion, then move, resize or rotate it before saving. Reject incorrect suggestions and draw a selection manually for every missed plate, sign, reflection or other detail.
Choose blur or pixelate and set the strength
Use a soft blur or a blocky pixel effect, then choose the strength. Save each area before starting another; use Undo for the last change or Reset to return to the original image.
Preview the complete image
Check the whole image, including mirrors, windows, reflections, background vehicles, signs, house numbers and small details near the edge of the frame.
Download the edited copy
Save a new JPEG to your device and keep your original separately. Review the edited copy before sharing it anywhere public.
Review remains essential
Why check the whole image?
Automatic detection provides a helpful starting point for likely plates, but it can miss angled, reflected, partly hidden or very small plates, and can sometimes suggest the wrong area. It does not identify signs or other non-plate details, so manual selection remains essential.
FuzzyPlate never applies an effect or downloads an image automatically. The person sharing the photo should still check the final image carefully. See the FAQ for short answers or choose a checklist for selling a car, social posts or workshop photographs.
